Leave a club or delete your account

Leaving takes you out of one club. Deleting your account takes you out of all of them and erases your contact details.

1

Leave a club

Go to You › Leave a club, pick the club, and type the club’s name to confirm. You stop seeing its practices, races and lineups, and you’re taken out of any crew from now on. Your past seats stay on the club’s records, and coming back needs a fresh invitation.

2

If the app won’t let you leave

The owner can’t leave their own club, and neither can its last club admin, who has to make someone else a club admin first. An owner who wants out transfers the club to another member and then leaves, or deletes the club. A free club can’t be handed over, so its owner can only delete it.

3

Delete your account

Go to You › Your details, tap Delete account, then Delete my account. This cannot be undone.

4

What goes, and what stays

Your email, phone, photo, bio, links, emergency contact and date of birth are erased, and you leave every club. Your name, weight and side stay on your clubs’ past lineups.

5

If you own clubs

The screen lists the clubs you own. To keep one running under someone else, tap Transfer a club and hand it over first; your account can be deleted once the new owner accepts. Otherwise delete each club, or choose Delete these clubs and my account: the clubs close for their members.

Without the app

Go to bencheleven.com/legal/delete-account and enter your email. We send a link, and nothing is deleted until you open it and confirm.
