Notifications

Go to You › Preferences › Notifications. If notifications are off for Bench Eleven in your phone’s settings, the screen says so and offers Open settings.

Under On this phone, each switch covers one kind:

• New practices and races, Practice changes and Cancellations
• Practice tomorrow: the day before a practice you said yes to
• Answer reminders: two days before a practice you said maybe to, or have not answered
• Race reminders: the evening before race day, and 1.5 hours before each race you’re seated in
• Lineups, Race crews and Race changes

Managers also get Someone drops out: a paddler in a posted lineup said no or left, or someone not in it said yes.

Under Email there are two switches: Cancellations, and for managers Someone drops out. No other notification is emailed.

The web app gets no push notifications. In a browser the screen shows only the email switches, with the line Phone notifications are set in the app on your phone.
