Running the club
Roles: who can do what
The owner can share the work of running the club. Which roles you can give depends on the club’s plan.
Assign a role
Go to Clubs › Manage your club › Permissions and tap Assign role. Choose the Person, the Level and, for a team or competition role, Where. Then tap Assign. Only members with an account can hold a role, so invite a guest first.
The five roles
Each level says what it allows:
- Club admin: Everything in the club except deleting it or handing it over.
- Member manager: Invites people, edits member details, puts members on teams and writes manager notes.
- Team manager: Runs one team or all of them: practices, lineups, members and invitations.
- Competition manager: Runs one competition or all of them: crews, races and lineups.
- Roster editor: Builds and publishes lineups for one team or competition, or all of them.
One person can hold several roles.
What each plan allows
On Free, the owner runs the club alone: Assign role isn’t there. On Club, you can assign Club admin, and the other four show Part of Pro subscription. On Pro, all five.
When the plan changes
Roles the plan doesn’t cover stay listed, greyed, so you can still remove them: on Free under Not active on the Free plan, on Club under Role-based permissions are available on the Pro plan.
Remove a role
On Clubs › Manage your club › Permissions, find the person and tap Remove role. They stay in the club and keep their seats.
